🇮🇱 Israel

Israel hits differently. It’s spiritual, chaotic, sacred, and modern, all at once. In Jerusalem, every stone has a story. I walked through the Old City and felt time collapse. Religions, cultures, and centuries all crashing into one narrow alley. But just a drive away, Tel Aviv flips the script. Beaches, bars, brutalist architecture. I danced till 3 a.m., then grabbed shakshuka at a corner café, still buzzing from the music and the sea breeze. The contrast is wild. And it’s what makes Israel unforgettable. The country’s small, so you can cover a lot in a week. Take a bus to Haifa for chill mountain-meets-sea energy. Float in the Dead Sea, yes, it stings. And hike up Masada for a sunrise you’ll remember forever. Food here is no joke. Hummus is so good it should be illegal. Fresh pita, sabich, and endless olives. Oh, and don’t miss the Friday market frenzy at Machane Yehuda. Security is tight. Don’t freak out, it’s normal. Just keep your passport handy and be respectful when questions come your way. People are direct. Like, really direct. But also warm. Ask for help and someone will probably walk you there. Sabbath starts Friday evening, so plan around it. Trains stop. Stores close. The pace slows beautifully. Israel isn’t just a destination. It’s a question mark. A mirror. A mix of contradictions that somehow works.
