It can be up to 60-90 centimeters in length and can weigh up to half a kilo and the ornament is made using multiple chains bolted together. Pahadi Jajeer can either be of gold or silver.
Primarily, majority of household have the ornament mad out of silver. In early 1900’s silver coins were used by jewelers in between the silver threads to make the ornament attractive.
