Who is Shri Neem Karoli Baba “Maharaj Ji”?
Param Pujya Baba Shri Neem Karoli Maharaj (Lakshman Narayan Sharma) took birth approx. 1900 in the Akbarpur village in Firozabad Uttarpradesh, India.
He belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family.
He always wanted to go away from his loved ones and to become a wandering sadhu but his parents got him married at the early age of 11 yet, he ran away from his family and returned a few year later, When he came back, he started a family he has 2 sons and a daughter.
Laxman das/ Neem karoli baba Ji left his house in 1958 and became a saint.

After becoming saint, he was known by many names some are Lakshmi Das, Tikonia wale Baba, Handi Walle Baba, and more.

Baba Ji and The Train Incident
Here is one incident narrated by Ramdas, Ramdas was a spiritual teacher once Neem Karoli Baba was travelling by train and he did not have a ticket, When the ticket conductor asked him for the ticket, Baba refused, The TT asked him to get off from the train.
After he got down, the train did not start again the people of the train asked the Ticket collector to call the saint back, When the saint came back the train immediately started and the driver took the blessing from Baba Ji.
After this incident, a station was built which is named as Neem Karoli by the locals.

In one of the other Incident which is famous among people is when Steve Jobs the cofounder, Chairman and CEO of Apple visited the Ashram during his early days in search of peace going through hard times of his life, Steve Jobs found the Ashram and stayed there and meditated found the true meaning of his life.
When he was coming back Steve Jobs met Shri Neem Karoli Baba Ji and as a blessing/Prasad Baba Ji offered him a APPLE after taking a Bite then Steve Jobs returned and got an Idea and started the multi millions firm Apple with the Logo of Apple with a Bite on it.
Everybody knows what all happened after that Steve Jobs has mentioned about Neem Karoli Baba Ji in Ted Talks and many Books.
